I found this very interesting and I would like to pitch in my 2p worth.
I am trying to learn about tarot cards but it would never occur to me to use this sort of discussion to try to get off with someone. I wouldn’t care if I fancied someone if they had an interest in the tarot. It seems germane here because Paul Foster Case says that once you know the main cards you really can develop any part of your self just by a few minutes with the relevant cards each day. I intend to put all the advice here into practice because it look sound and I am not even a young single person, just a mid-lifer keen to be a happier more confident and sociable sort without being too shallow to breathe. There is so much in life that seems beyond your control and this article takes you positively around everything that isn’t without putting you into awkward situations.
I will give it all a go just in case of conversations!
PS It is great to see some one recommend philosophy. We seem so much in a post philosophical culture at the mo. God knows where we will be in 2300AD!

In my opinion, to agree with both parties. Yea, be yourself and be your best self. You may not like tarot cards, but may love astrophysics and would find yourself suited to broaden into astrology. You may find it a good laugh to learn magic tricks, everybody loves magic tricks and naturally, learning new skills will help you devolop as a person. True, you may want to pass on the politics, but if you’re feeling unlucky, than a new hair cut and outfit can bring that confidence about.

Some good points. But IMO if you’re going for a serious relationship, stay away from airheads that are interested in Tarot or Astrology. Now astronomy is another matter.
Get a puppy. Borrow a friends dog and take it for walks… – It’s a chick magnet.
Dance. Most guys are afraid to dance. Ever been to a dance and noticed that there are girls sitting on the side-lines, tapping their feet, while their date sits there like a lump on a log? OPPORTUNITY GUYS! Learn to dance. – It’s actually fun!

I think your mostly right, but then you have those girls that only go for the very physically fit guys. Let me tell you, in my opinion, some of those chicks are some of the hottest you will ever see, but also the stupidest you will ever see. but i agree with most of the things you say, if your looking for a long term relationship, most of those things are very useful.

Some people have this innate ability to remember every actor in films, and the names, theme tunes, previews, criticims and each word spoken. I really don’t know how they do it, but remembering actors names is something I have to work on.
