And such is life.
Life is simultaneously wonderful and horrible, beautiful and ugly, good and bad, simple and complex. Like a coin, with two sides to every situation, to every moment, to every perspective. Such is life.
Taking this into account, how will you view life? Will you stick to one side of the spectrum, putting your full trust in the realities of whichever of the dualities your choose?
Or perhaps there is another way. If one is aware of the dualistic nature of life, then that individual can step back from the coin and enjoy the flip, rather than be distracted by which side it lands on.
Apply this to life and all of its affairs.
There will be good days and bad, storms and rainbows, hard times and prosperity, success and failure, growth and destruction, life and death.
Tomorrow is going to be a bad day for me, but today was great, and so was yesterday, and the day before.
As they say, "this too shall pass". Remember this, nothing ever remains the same. Happiness through stability will never be achieved, embrace the turbulence and move with it, there is where you will find happiness. The good times always end, but the bad ones never last. So throw your hands up and enjoy the ride.
Goodnight everyone.
Be well.
Ian.

Amor est vitae essentia... Love is the essence of life...
I exist as a form of excellence. -- Solar
I embrace hardship and privation with ecstatic delight; I want everything the world holds; I would go to prison or to the scaffold for the sake of the experience. I have never grown out of the infantile belief that the universe was made for me to suck. I grow delirious to contemplate the delicious horrors that are certain to happen to me. This is the keynote of my life, the untrammeled delight in every possibility of existence, potential or actual. -- Alester Crowley
