Default Body language

Yo, Heres a few things about body language that i have picked up, guys add to this thread anything you know about body language since this is one of the most important aspects of the game...

Hands out in the open (shows that your an open person)

Always lean back when first talking to a girl showing that they need to earn your interest when they DHV themself move in a little rewarding them with your attention

Always keep strong Eye contact, eyes can talk alot.

If a girl is attracted she will usually touch above her neck(twirl hair....etc)

Girl licks her lips ( usually means she wants you to kiss them)

stand steadily with your legs spread a little (shows confidence)

keep relaxed shoulders...when your tense you should notice it usually moves straight to your shoulders....

always keep your head up....don't touch your face

use your hands as a device when talking and telling stories

thats all i have for now any other body language you guys have please add

at first i stand at an angle so you are not facing them but talking over your shoulder a little. they will squirm a little to get your attention and try and move in front of you. works with girls and guys

Don't Cross your arms over your chest.

Don't hold your drink there either. (Hold it down to the side.)

Don't use too much gesticulation (hand movements).

Smile when approaching. (Makes you less confrontational.)

You don't need to always keep eyecontact.. Just remember (Eye contact shows attraction and interest. Use it to your advantage.)

Don't fidgit.

Breathe slowly.

Talk slowly and with a overall low voice. (Not like a retard though)

Relax.

Keep your feet shoulder length apart.

Take up space (Perverbially)

KINO! It IS natural.

Don't shift your weight too much.

I could go on and on and on and on.... But this is probably enough for now.

I like to stand in hypnoitca stance. Its where you have one foot in front of other with feet spread and left foot point out to left, just a little,
and right foot more degreed angle then the left, as if you are try to study something. I like it because you don't look like the typical guy
with both feet facing them trying to look tough. To me it looks acquired and try hard. And with this hyponitcas stance you have better
center of balance and dont wobble and have the look of leaning back.

Yo EvoJ,

You said don't use gesticulations too much? I find my gesticulations to be key in my DHVs and story telling. I am Italian and my family taught me to talk like that, but I find that girls follow the story more the more lively you are.

It is known by all who meet us. We are the new lifestyle of today.

- Feet positioning can help tell you whether someone is into you or not. For example, if you're talking to a girl and they have both feet facing the door, then it may mean she wants to leave. But if she's standing with feet facing you, could be she's into you.

- To add to Conda's "hands in the open", palms up is the least threatening hand position. It's why people shake hands, in the old days it was the way of saying 'I'm unarmed, have a look'.
So, three general hand movements are Palm up, palm down, and pointing.
- Palm up: most submissive and least threatening, calm.
- Palm down: Still not threatening bit slightly more dominant. Think about if someone has said 'Just leave it' or 'stop' whilst doing a downward motion with their hand, like closing a lid.
- Pointing: most aggressive and dominant, try not to use this when gaming as it might show too much control.

I think the most important thing to remember with body language is that it is not always 100% correct. Eg,
- A girl has her arms crossed = doesn't mean she is definitely closing herself off, she could be cold.
- Feet are facing towards the door = Might have a sore leg and that position is more comfortable, or just happens to stand that way.

Actually Apollo... I use them too much. That is the main reason I try to keep them under wraps. Using them SOME is a great way to keep people interested but they will get "Sticker Shock" real quick. You know, when they start out and you have their attentino and then they tend to just get overwhelmed by all the sensory imput your giving them.

All I was saying was, use gesticulation to accentuate points and to move the story along. Don't use it in every sentence because you shouldn't have to accentuate them all.

Actually, I think I just might get a video camera, tell a story and then upload it to youtube and post it on here. Then you guys can critique me about my bodylanguage and my story.

One thing thats been working for me lately is mirroring her movements and breathing rate.
This has been around for awhile but I recently started using this and it works.
