As I'm sitting in Starbucks, not working on the outline that is due in an hour. I find myself reading the back of my coffee, and I really enjoy this quote.

Taste is subjective. Taste is democratic. Taste is powerful. Taste - the combination of texture, aroma, temperature, aesthetic, and environment - is also a window into someone else's life or culture.

Be confident in your taste, but remain curious and expose yourself to new tastes. Allow your taste to constantly evolve and grow - while keeping and cherishing the memories that taste creates.

I like reading the things they put on cups. Some of them can be pretty interesting, so good find!

I had that cup like 3 days ago! It made me really think about taste, not just of foods, but of things like music, style, and women. So far, I have lead a pretty close-minded life as far as trying new things, I must change this.....

Some Chef's have 4 areas of taste. Sweet Sour Salty and Bitter. I think there are actually many more. Some chefs say there are like 16. The ones I can think of are, Spicy Aromatic Earthy Fatty Pungent Floral on top of the first 4. If I think of more I'll post em.
