Default How to not care?

I have a problem with not caring what others think.

For example, today, people have been using me as pretty much the butt of all their jokes. I've been called fat, bigheaded, gay, and all kinds of stuff.

At the end of the day, it leaves me feeling like crap.

How do you ACTUALLY not care, and let it roll off of you?

Thanks

B.

By having an amazingly strong core confidence, and an even stronger external confidence.
I know it's hard to come up with something like that overnight, though, so you need to fake it.
When someone makes you the butt of their joke, take half a second to think about whether the joke was legitimately funny. If it was, laugh. If not, raise your eyebrows, say something like "yeah man, that was hilarious. How's that stand up comedy career working out for you?". I know they say sarcasm is the poor man's wit, but goshdarnit, it's just so much fun.

There are two things you need to do if you want to build up your confidence.
The first is to fake it until you make it. Act like you could not be more confident. Chin up, shoulders back, not slumping, back straight. Meet people's eyes. Smile.
The second is to give yourself a pep talk every morning, and whenever you need it. List your good points, tell yourself that you're going to learn something today. Rejoice that you're alive.
Also, start meditating for a half hour every morning. The day will seem so much brighter.

Hope I helped.

Confidence usually comes with time and experience, but if you need it quick smart listen to action. List all your good qualities to yourself, when i was sad over the last 5 months id take a moment for myself and say quietly to myself.. You are an attractive, smart, ambitious, young caring funny guy, with a family that loves me and friends that like to spend time with me, and any women would be lucky to spend time with me. Its not arrogance its confidence.. and if your friends are getting you down and calling you gay or fat.. fuck em. Find new friends, they are not worth your time.

and you dont care because they are not true.. they are just attacks at you to test you and they can see that its affecting you is why they keep doing it. When someone says to me 'oi man, you're like a fucking gaybo' i just go.. 'nice call man, im just going to go over here now' and walk away, or start talking to someone else.
