Default The key to happiness

Right now I am listening to Tony Robbins' 'Creating Lasting Change'. It is good stuff. In it he describes the key to happiness as having your life conditions meet your expectations of how you envision your life being. For example: If your current life condition regarding money is that you are broke and your expectations are that you should be rich, you will be unhappy in this area. Therefore, there are two things you can do to create happiness in this are. #1 make a shit load of money or you can change your expectations about money. Accept that you are where you are and commit to being excellent in this area. You can apply the same principle to any area of life.

When I read this I started to listen to the same thing, and I can say that I like it very much.
I encourage others to try, too

Thank you for sharing, Entelechy.

There is no happiness guys. We associate the feeling of happiness with something extremely pleasurable.. But the fact is we can't be in that state for too long - our body simply wouldn't be able to cope with high intensity feelings for long periods of time.

Happiness is something temporary, that comes and goes.
