Default Grow Up, it is 2009!!!! Resolutions

I really never made any resolutions with any intentions to keep them before, so now is a perfect time to start. Its like goals, but a special time to make them

-Stick with the gym, I have been going more often that I used to, I want to keep it that way.
-Make the trip to south beach in april with a good amount of money
-Make a 3.5 GPA at the end of the semester
-Get an internship at a local sports agency
-Move into an apartment at school or with friends by the time senior year starts.
-Fulfill my resolutions before 2010

- Definitely go out more
- Cut on time spent on computer
- Go to gym regularly
- Get involved in more after school clubs/and other stuff
- Raise my GPA to 3.5 or more
- Become more social, so I can go to anyone anytime and start a fruitful and fun interactions.
- It is healthy to put one goal that is probably out of your reach, and that is: Go and try out for modeling.

Any other ideas? I am interested in what you think a video game nerd (this is the first time I use these words to describe myself, but I should stop being in denial) should add in for a good measure?

-Up the intensity of my workout routine
-Get a job, or learn how to make money via online business
-Bring my cumulative up to a 3.0 (I'm really close)
-Control my drinking habits
-Get in the habit of reading books again (rather than watching TV/playing video games)
-Pick up the guitar again
-I want to travel more this year than I have in the past

Can't think of anything else ATM.

Yes. I don't follow through on my resolutions, so mine is basically to stop making them. And focus on things more short term so that they'll actually be done.

What about this resolution? Being absolute clear about what you want, even on your resolutions. I don't like the video much, I may replace it. But you shall get the point. Make your resolution/goals, and MEAN them, then come up with an intelligent plan (science + emotional and mental support) to achieve your goals.

I will come back to this thread in December 31, 2009 or maybe even (March 1, 2009) to see if these resolutions are being kept. That's another part of your goals, you DO need someone to hold you accountable for them.

The only resolution I made which will be really tough is moving out of my parents house.

Being a full time student with car payments, taking a fullsummer internship, doesnt leave much time for work, so I will have to map out my income and see how it can be done.

I am htinking of taking a waiter job at a local restaurant. They tip good around here, my buddy took home $150 in tips on a thursday night, thats pretty damn good, so I am going to look into that.
