Default Summer Goal/To Do List

I don't think I've seen a thread on here dedicated to summer improvement and achievement. Summer is a great break from most of our academic commitments among other things and can give everyone a renewed focus on things we all try to push back over and over again. Here's my goal list, I hope all of you create one as well whether you post it or not.

Enjoy summer, everyone!

(Being in California, my last final was today so its not even first day of summer technically, in case anyone is wondering why I'm posting this now as opposed to a month ago when most schools got out)

- Read ten books (mainly based off book recomendations thread on this site). I just discovered Adderall and Ritalin which pretty much allow me to knock out entire books in a couple of hours.
- Move into new room in Fraternity and get it organized and posted on here for critique (have a book to read on organization first)
- Focus of new room will be work area for the summer. Goal is to make $30k playing poker over the summer. I think $10k may be more realistic but why not aim high?
- Find some good TV shows that can really give me perspective or input on the world. I've caught onto the Soprano's recently and other shows that emphasize the characters a lot more than the plot. Californication is another one on the list.
- If poker starts out well for me, I'd like to get a laptop I can play on and head down to LA for a bit, Vegas, maybe elsewhere in the country, we'll see.
- Get back into/keep in shape for soccer.

I'd like to come up with a couple more things. Current book list is... Think and Grow Rich, Organization Book (don't know title), 4-hour Work Week (for like the 8th time), Great Gatsby (maybe?), could definitely use a couple more if anyone has any input.

Dude, Californication is f**king brilliant. I ripped through 2 seasons from Friday to Sunday morning. Love it man.

It's a must see.

I set some goals for me this summer, as well
I wish you good luck with yours...

And yeah, I LOVE Californication!

Read I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell

My remaining goals are the following:
-Finish Think and Grow Rich
-Lose about 8 pounds (going for 140) or just lose enough fat/replace with muscle to the point I'm content
-Do my summer reading (the one part of high school I can't stand)
-Read Reading People
-Read How to Win Friends and Influence People
-Start a band
