Question Should we let the English language go to shit?

Shit even when english is my second language and I'm still learning to write, pronunciate etc I get irritated when people just butcher the shit out of there writing.

So should this be normal since it could be the evolution of language since we are becoming more computerized? Or what to do?

English is the same as its ever been, the english language will never change. The only thing that has happened, is that Pseudo-Modern English has emerged from our language.

Just as in history languages have divided into parts, English as we know it, is just the gutter speak alernative of French. Being able to finely manipulate proper english is a VERY valuable skill, which means I have nothing to feel threatened by. Especially by 1337-Speak.

Hhhmmm so in reality you are learning to languages. The more common Pseudo-Modern English and the proper one. And both can help you and enable you to communicate in different situations. As long as you are able to incorporate the right "language" to the right situation then everything will be fine. Never thought of that.

I disagree. When has English ever remained the same for more than a generation? It doesn't just have influences from French, much derives from Latin, Anglo Saxon, and Arabic. Words of taboo are constantly changing as people seek to change their meanings. For example, the name 'rabbit' was previously 'cunny'. However due to the pun and consequence of 'cunt', the name had to change yet 'bunny' still lives on. New York Bunny Clubs are an evolution of London's 18th Century 'Cunny Houses'.

Although I agree that in the past the French often come to use new words before the English; this was due to invasions of the South of France from the multiple Mediterranean empires. However this is no longer the case and both languages are seeing a decline in politeness.

You might be surrounded by Pseudo-Modern English on a day to day basis and it might seem like its everywhere and the most common, but there are thousands of books, articles, scientific studies published everyday with proper English.

Although I do love Californication the whole English vs. Text speak argument at least from my perspective is silly. I can't think of anyone who's English is deteriorating because of text speak.

This is the point I was trying to make! Perfect

Hank Moody is a dick, simple as. Conceited and self righteous, on screen hes loveable, but if you met him in person, youd think he was a jerk.

It is not suitable decision to treat English as an inferior language as it is now became "Unified Global Language".It is language of technology & communication also.

Today English has progressed naturally as a universal language over time, even though attempts of various populaces to produce artificial languages for example Esperanto, as universal languages.
