Odds of Randy Johnson Hitting That Dove?

I'm sure you guys all know of the infamous pitch that Randy Johnson threw that hit a dove and pretty much exploded the bird. If you don't just search youtube, it's pretty amazing.

Anyway I'm watching Sport Science and they were talking about that and asked what the odds were of the ball actually hitting a bird int hat situation and for the timing and placement to be perfect it would happen only once in NINETEEN BILLION times. They tried to re-create it in a lab and after 200 failed attempts they gave up. I was floored when I heard it was the unbelievably rare. Definitely a cool little piece of trivia to know.

Yeah that's the video of it. And I think a sports section would be good. It's definitely something I've seen on other forums and it's always nice to have.
