Default The Dark Knight (**warning spoilers inside**)

OMG- GO AND WATCH THIS MOVIE!!!!!!

I checked this movie out on IMAX (a 4 storey movie screen) last night, and it was fan-fucking-tastic.

a must see.....

and for heath ledger as the joker... in my opinion- he stole the show. I felt like he was the main character, the one you waited to appear on the screen again, not batman.
He's portrayal of the joker was amazing...

It'll be one of the most famous movies of all time, there is no doubt about that. Not just for the acting, but the message and the philosophy. This movie is SOOOO deep.. Its not a bat and a clown fighting each other, its a complex journey into the heart and nature of all humans. Symbolised by so many things. I dont want to post spoilers, but every character is a projection of some form of human nature, as is gotham itself.

The movie is a masterpiece, and heath did steal the show chad, you are right about that. He passed away at what had become the height of his career, it saddens me to know that I'll never know how high he might have gone! The movie is for me the posterchild of humanity. With an incredible cast and incredible acting. It just left me amazed..

But omfg, listen to the joker, then think of young william thatcher, from a nights tale.. or the bad boy with a heart of gold from 10 things I hate about you.. Everything combined and showed us a heath we never knew existed. It just astounded me that this was the same person. You can tell I like th movie no?

It is rated number one movie of all time.
Best movie I've ever seen, definitely.
And indeed, the Joker stole the show!

P.S. I just realized this movie got about three posts on its own. Should we merge them together?

Wasn't too bad, the acting was amazing, so were the effects.

No more Robin

Son of a bitch. IMAX? What an asshole. I only saw it, but in the movie theater. Compared to your lucky ass I should've just watched a bootleg chinese version on my computer......

Ah man, seeing it on the Imax would have been meeeeeeeeeeeental.
I saw it the other night.
It blew my nuts off to say the least.
And yes, Heath destroyed it. All the little quirks he had were so amazing. Favourite bit was when he was walking out of the hospital in the nurse outfit, flapping his arms. Hehe.

WHY SO SERIOUS!!!!!!?

I dont know who will play robin.. But I have a feeling the commissioners son will be the robin in the movie. Say #3 is set 10 years in the future, his son will be around 20 and batman will be between maybe 40-50? I reckon thats believeable.

hella yeah!!! im going to see this show again this weekend. this is only the 3rd ever movie that i will pay to see twice at the movies- and im glad to pay!!!!

and the joker!!!!

i loved the part when he says to maggie gylenhal (however you spell it..) and she hits him
'youve got a bit of fight in your... i like that'
'then your going to love me'
BAM!!

hahaha- love that shit....

i hope there isnt a batman and robin. i love the fact that this show doest feel like a comic book movie- just a great action/ drama show with interesting characters. i loved the darkness of it.
batman an drobin seems like a backward step.... but then again, i would never have guessed the batman franchise would be this good after its Mr Freeze days...

If they went more the Tim Drake route than the Dick Greyson route, I think it would be alright. Or if they actually showed some relationship between Bruce and the Greyson family previous to Dick moving into his house, that would be alright. I dunno, Tim Drake is a fucking badass as Robin, and I'd love to see him translated into movie form.

Apparently Christian Bale said he would quit if they gave him a Robin...

I was also thinking about who would play Robin. It would have to be someone cool enough not to be an annoying little fag, but not that cool as to outplay Christian. It would be hard.

Let's put a smile on that face of yours...

Hahahahahahaha . You're such a dork.

The thing I loved the most was the Joker in the nurse dress!
