Ok, time for me to set the record straight with my honesty and my 'tell it how it is'-ness

First just let me qualify what the issue is here. Th issue is NOT that the punishment is severe, the punishment is fine. She deserved what she got, and she should rot in prison her whole life. For killing a person. What GG did to her was bad, but what she did to him was worse. One bad deed dose not deserve another. Yes she has no moral scruples, she is/was a whore and a prostitute. She could have at any time said no to that life and told her parents or the authorities. The way she handled the situation was maladaptive and psychotic. Someone capable of a methodical murder and going through with it, dosent deserve a place in civilised society. She is where she should be.

The issue is, whether someone of 'Childhood' age is more susceptible to rehabilitation than an adult. I'll keep my personall opinion out of this, and just lay it out. A child may or may not be more susceptible to rehabilitation, but that does not mean that they deserve a chance where an adult does not. Once the justice system breaks down and someone who has commited a genuine crime walks free, the system loses all its honour and its integrity. She is a matar, she is being made an example of. Take our ian for example, we all know that the ian who commited the crime and ian who is serving the punishment are COMPLETELY different people. Yet, he is still being punished, and i believe I can say that he expects them too and understands why. What he did was wrong, what this girl did was wrong, and a crime cannot go unpunished no matter how much they seem to be reformed or remorseful. Its a simple fact of life. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, of varying size and severity, but it is always there. And once you remove that, you've lost stability.

She did a bad thing.. and bad things are being done to her. Let it be a lesson, to the pimps.. the hoes.. the parents and anyone else with any sort of motive or personnal investment.

She took a life, she deserves for hers to be taken as well.

I totally agree with you on the fact that what she did was wrong and most be punish. She evens explains and knows that what she did was wrong. The thing I don't get is she is sentenced to life. So in my opinion the sentence is severe. Now why do I believe that?

Any person who is abuse at childhood, then rape at 13 and put in the street to work as a prostitute can not be seemd as a "normal" person. When I mean normal it would be a education, some sort of parenting, and social conditioning. When your childhood is full of abuse and disturbing memories you can expect them to grasp reality the same way that we do.

Is on unfair to punish her exactly the same way as someone who had a "normal" childhood.

Naaah, not 'taken' just confiscated. As in, she still has possession of it, she just cant use it. Capitol punishment is archaic, life in confines is not.

Tona, im not sure that she was abused. She was abused by her pimp, but she let that happen, she allowed him to enter her life, and but her things and get things over her. Then he used her, as far as i know, she let herself become that way. Thats not stable.

Her mother was a drug addict and abused her. She could have hit her, molested her or many other things. But the one thing that she did not do was love her, make her feel human. There was no love in her childhood so that is why she let GG, because she believed that he was the family figure that was absent in her life. You can expect a child who's never been loved to turn their back at someone who shows that they care for them.
