Nah, dont agree. Shes only reiterating the accepted view of the masses. Which isnt true. Parents are not too embarrased to talk to their kids about sex, people who watch porn are not under any delusions about its validity.
Any man who wants to do something kinky, is from his own desires, not from what he sees in porn. Seeing it done in porn meerly shows him that this is possible, he then decides to do it, because he wants to, not because it happened in porn. She might as well be reading a script, she isnt saying anything new.

You'd be surprise how many parents don't mention sex to their children. Maybe is different in Australia but here in US saying the word penis or vagina in a sex education class with freshmens will get a nice laugh. Not because is funny but it just never been spoken correctly and are nervous. Is want of the difference that my parents saw when they came to US from Mexico, they felt that sex was a big taboo subject. Specially for minorities. Now this are all observation I've made and heard.
I know plenty of people that do get an "education" based on porn. They do follow a protocol of just cumming on a girls face just because.

Actually, you'd be surprised. I have been impressed, in corresponding with teenagers in Australia since the release of my talk, at what I hear about your school sex ed system, but alas, that is very much not the case in other parts of the world (here in the US, where I am based, as well as elsewhere).
I'm not actually 'reiterating the accepted view of the masses' - I came up with the idea for Make Love Not Porn :: Porn World vs. Real World based on direct personal experience, as I mention in my talk (it would never have occurred to me otherwise), and since I launched the site I have received a huge volume of responses, predominantly from teenagers and 20-somethings, from all around the world, welcoming the site and sharing stories of their own experiences in this context where what happens in porn is confused with what might be welcomed in real world sex.
Some of these stories are very funny, but the underlying message is serious. We all get insecure when we get naked. We want to please our partner, and we will take our cues anywhere we can get them. When the only place is porn, because no one openly discusses and educates us about what constitutes great mutually satisfying real world sex, very real misconceptions arise - and often aren't corrected, because it's also difficult for a lot of people to be open about what they like during sex. Sexual egos are very fragile, and people can be scared of hurting their partner's feelings/turning them off them/derailing the entire encounter.
I'm very pleased to know this doesn't apply to you, and presumably your friends and network - that's great.

Cindy! Honoured to get a reply, I really am. Dont get me wrong, most of what you've said is true. While most people are smart enough to know that porn isnt the real world, dosent take away the fact that its the only real exposure a child will have to sex up until they try it themselves. The parents being too fragile and all to bring it up, so they imitate what they've seen because its all they know.
If what they want to do to their partner is from within themselves and not from what they've seen in porn I have no problem with adolescents watching kinky porn. So long as they understand that porn in no way mirrors real life, but the lurid desires of 'most' men. Like its done here, its then up to the family and the teachers to make sure that a child grows up with some semblence of a realistic approach to sex. But Make Love Not Porn :: Porn World vs. Real World is definitely a step in the right direction for those children where adult intervention is scarce.
