Okay, quick question for ya'll...

Do you think being on a varsity team while your in university is a major DHV, or is it something that's just overrated in your opinion? Because it was something I thought about a lot last year, and didn't know whether or not it was worth the investment.

it helps a lot man to say you play for the team. that goes for D1 teams.. i'm not sure how much it applies to the lower division teams.

In high school I was a tri sport athlete on the varsity teams and also captain of more than one of them but didn't get to play college ball because of an injury. By being "that guy" you get a lot of attention through conversation. Lets put it this way, even chicks who don't care about sports in the least will be attracted to you because you're one of the elite, period.

I think that last part is very important lol. I know a lot of guys on the footbal squad, who are just absolute meatheads and think they're weightlifting abilities will attract the ladies lol (primarily the offensive and defensive linemen). Thanks for clarifying though, because I just wanted to know if it would help me get my foot in the door. Last year when I played on a semi-varsity team I noticed a bit of increased attention but I didn't know if it was because of that.
