The Pick-Up Artist

Hey,

I finally got to watch that show the pickup artist, and I was wondering why they only ran club game. How well do you think that translates into day game? I don't know, I kinda get the feeling day game is a lot harder.

They did try it a few times, on the bridge, and also a cafe.

Well, first off, they only had a certain amount of time to use for the show, and I think the club environtment is more suitable for T.V. entertainment (e.g. more people, more girls to turn the guys down and to be picked up, fun, flashy, etc)

But they did have a few episodes on day game.

You're wrong about day game being harder, while it is fairly easy to PU at clubs due to the large selection and atmosphere. Meeting people anywhere is just as easy once you see the big picture behind social intereaction, takes time but it comes.

Day game is just different. Nobody is in the mood thus you have to be and you have to let that infect your target. Targets are few and far between and often in habitual daily activities eg eating or traveling. In day game you realllly have to emphasise you are only allowed to stop and talk briefly the false time constraint is your best friend here. Most times you have to be a little more direct.

I know this isnt classic theory, but i find that during day game if a girl thinks she is being picked up, she'll loosen up a bit.

me:i came over to try and pick you up.

You might think that is a bizare sequence but everytime i've used it bar once or twice it has yielded at least some positive response. Be more direct, nobody has time to stuff around.

not so long ago while i was travelling in america (i had little knowledge of the community) - i was talking to my female friends who i was staying with in san fran and their friends...

they said that their dream was 'for a man to approach them in a bookstore, or a laundry mat and "sweep us off our feet"' , and they all laughed and agreed...

oh, and an interesting side not... was having lunch with my work colleagues the other day - and the conversation turned to relationships and men (as i was the only male on this certain end of the table) and they all spoke about how
'when your young (their age ranged from 25 - 34) you want an arrogant bastard, but when your older you want a nice guy.....'
they all agreed here too - ( but as we know, what women want and what they say can be two different things -)

something to take away here - not so much in my conversations - but with ourselves as men aspiring to be better with women....
talk to women and gain a better understanding of them. have a good mix of female friends and male friends - i think your game will benefit ten- fold....
