Thumbs up Alright. It's time for a HARDCORE Workout

Has anyone done this? Any EXPLOSIVE workout? One that may take about 3 days per week 1 1/2 - 2 hours. That's as much time as I have right now and then... on the other four days, Im going to do some cardio. Some days will be jogging, other days will be biking. Anyway, any tips or routines you guys have set up, or perhaps any websites?

I wanna add I dont have much money for a gym membership. I'm what you call broke, so dumbbells or that isn't quite an option either. Any of you work out at the park, beach and so on?

Starting with an explosive workout won't do much good, if you don't have a solid strength base already. If your strapped for equipment, you can keep it simple. Do squats, crunches, pushups, chin-ups.

Start with the above. If you haven't been hard core weight lifting before doing 60 squats, 60 crunches, 60 push ups and 60 chin ups will make you feel like your paralyzed.

I'd post a link of a really great fitness site, but I don't know if I am allowed to do so.

This is exactly what we will be working on in the Lifestyle Challenge.

My goal is to achieve Military standard fitness and strength. Find a routine that you like, and that you can continue to embellish and develop over time. The key is to overload your body.

I'm gonna go to the gym now. Thanks for the inspiration.

It is absolutely okay to post the site Ice, unless the other site disagrees.

I did over 100 push ups the other night. I did 60 squats as well, and I was extremely sore by the next day. Chin ups are really hard for me to pull off. I mean really hard, but I will continue to work on it.

On another note... Ice, that website has great information. Thanks bro!

with chin ups and pull ups start with a lower bar. The bar should be low enough that you can stand on your tip toes when you have gone as far up as you can on the pull up. Its like doing knee-push ups their slightly easier. You might not be physically capable yet, I barely am. I can only do like 5.
