Default Gym Rant

I'm at the Gym on Monday doing my usual strength program, I've just loaded up the Bar with 70kg (154.323584 pounds) for some Military presses and some auld twat comes an stands in front of me (As in between me and the mirror) with one of those wooden sticks, and starts doing those gay fucking twist things. Not that i have anything against them, but do your gay shit in the aerobics salon, or not in front of someone trying to lift something heavy over their head. Useless feckers!

Anyone else want to share a gym rant?

Mmmm. The monkeys that sit on the machines, watching TV waste their, and my time. Oh, and when rowing, I hate it when someone rows next to me (unless there's no other machines) because it puts me off my rhythm.

On a good note, nothing beats a bit of camel toe as the girls stretch next to you.

Have thousands of them... I got pinned down while doing heavy squats, and this fucking retarded selfcalled expert personal trainer comes to me after i recover from the hit and tells me to do them on a smith machine next time... This fucking pissed me off more than the cut on the arm I got from barbell falling. Why the fuck that guy thought that he knows more than me, or that he fucking has something smart to say in that moment. Everybody who did squats seriously in their life were in trouble at least once. And why the fuck he dares...

I was in a gym once, doing deadlifts, and the bitch who works there came up to me and told me that it's forbidden to do that exercise. She told me that that was too much weight to be on the floor. I was deadlifting 250 for reps. Once I weighted more than that and when I was paying them membership they fucking didn't have probems with my weight (+ if you count the weight of dumbbells and barbells). What a fucking disgrace. I was doing then lunges with dumbbells, the bitch came up again and looked at me with a confused look then said: "ok, but put the dumbbells gently on the floor". Fuck off you slut.

People that sit on a machine forever when I need to use it. People that leave dumbells by a bench when they are done; you can't tell if they are done with it if they leave their shit next to it.

Exactly, yesterday I just decided to leave the gym because I couldnt wait any longer for my last machine. The guy took forever, like 3 minute breaks between his sets staring at himself in the mirror, he wasnt even big.

A few years back when i was at the gym working my legs.. I go on my usual circuit and hit the squats, lunges, calf raises, leg press, etc.

I had 500+ lbs on the calf raise machine and this guy who was definitely on something takes off like 300. so i go to put it back on and these guys give me the weirdest look like there was no way i could do it. As I come around for the third set there's this asian lady who's in her late 50s and probably about 5'5 with 700 lbs on the machine.. then i go to the squats after i'm done and she's there doing about 650 while i'm only doing 450..

It's one of those days when all of the huge guys are just staring in disbelief by my strength and I get shown up by some late 50s woman who doesn't even look like a body builder... talk about an ego killer

Hey guys, I am new to the community, but i have a funny story to tell.

I am a big guy, but not really a type who has been working out a lot. I am quite ample, anyways, I signed up for the Gym membership and this one older indian lady who was probably like 55 yrs old around 5.5 and 105lbs she was doing the same weights as I was, I was like damn.

Anyways, that actually motivated me to work out even more, and harder.

There is only one thing I hate in the gym. And that is when a new gym member someone who has obviously never worked out before but wants to get healthy doesn't want to ask for help, gets intimidated by the bigger guys and does a little bit here and there then gives up because he thinks he looks stupid and walks out. These are the guys I like to go up to and introduce myself too. I now have a list of work out buddies who I can call and if one cant go at the time I want to then I call several others.

The other guys, the ones who leave the dumbbells on the floor without telling anyone if they are finished or any of the above can easily be solved by a simple friendly convo.
