Thumbs up hundred pushups

one hundred push ups

Hey guys.

I know alot of you probably have heard of this program before but I'm posting this for those of you who haven't.

I just finished week one of both the 100 pushups program and the 200 situps program and I feel amazing. My body is already bigger and more defined. After only one week!

Now, I've always worked out but I've never had an organized workout plan. The day of rest in between each workout really makes a big difference.

This program will give you a great body and increase your strength immensely. Its not very difficult, you just have to stick with it and make sure you're using proper form.

Tomorrow I'll be starting week 2(column 3) for both pushups and situps. I'll keep you guys updated every week. And I encourage you all to join me and post your results here.

Im starting this tonight...I am column 3 averaging around 12-14 pushups when I randomly try to do them. I will probably do the situps as well as the squats since I play tennis and could benefit my legs.

Its great to hear that you're getting started Nick!

I just finished my workout for today and it was a bit of a challenge but I worked my way through it. The great thing about this program is that it gives you almost immediate results that you can clearly see and feel.

Also, I see alot more views on this page then responses. C'mon men, what are you afraid of? Lets get goin and see who's the first to get to a hundred!

hahahaha, this is lol. I started in column 5. with 62.

Heres an idea, instead of doing 60 pushups, how about you go to a gym put a 20kg weight on your back and then try and do 60 pushups haha. If I actually followed this id be at 100 within a week. Without doubt.

Either way, ill leave you guys to it. Ive already got a routine. hahaha

It will be a miracle if I reach 60. I dislocated both of my elbows when I was younger and pushups puts lots of pressure on them, so its a challenge for me and theres no doubt in my mind that this will work wonders for me.

In the last letter Ian Smith wrote me last week, he explained,

'Of course, my workout remains as the core of my daily activities! 80 push ups is old news my man! The number is somewhere between 85 - 90 now. I can do 150, 3 times in a row, but that burns me out pretty quickly.'

I actually did day 1 of pushups and situps yesterday, I am sore in the chest triceps, probably could have used better form on the situps because I am not sore at all.

I've found with situps that you form improves the more you do it.

Sup fellas.

On the 3rd day of week 2 I got a little distracted because my girl came over and spent the day with me, I usually do my workout in the morning, but I still managed the pushups later on that evening.

I did the situps for that day yesterday along with some pullups, chinups and freeweights. I felt a lot stronger when I did these.

I just did the exhaustion test for the pushups and got 25. It probably wasn't the best idea to do the test after working out so hard yesterday, but I'll stick with the results and start on column 2 for week 3 in a day or two.

I'll be reporting the results of my exhaustion test for the situps tomorrow.

Situps exhaustion test results: 40.

Looks like I'll be in column 2 for both the programs this week.

I feel alot stronger than I was when I started. I actually did do 100 pushups(not in a row) the day of the exhaustion test.

My body is really starting to take shape and I know it will only get better from here; I can only imagine what I'll look like at the end of the six weeks!

Ok, I don't have any "before" pics but here's my progress so far:

(Don't mind the scars)

I start week 4 tomorrow for pushups and since I haven't done my situps this week I'll be doing week 3 for those.

How's everybody else doing?

Wow monkey, you have pretty well defined abs. Is that from doing the situp program?

Haha, thanks man.

I was in okay shape to begin with but alot of the definition that you see is in fact from the situps program.

I finished week 3 of situps and week 4 of pushups a couple days ago. I'll be doing another exhaustion test for the pushups either tomorrow or the next day, I feel alot stronger than I was when I started so I expect it to go pretty well.

I fell off this...I lost power for a few days so I didnt know what I was supposed to be doing, then I got backed up with school work. I did manage to do 21 pushups yesterday just to see where I stand.

Well somehow I only got 28 on my exhaustion test, lol.

Looks like I'll be doing weeks 3&4 again but this time in column 3.

I feel the results when I do my pushups because I am able to do more, I just dont see them in my chest. I feel the need to cut my body fat by 4% or more if I really want to see the muscles that I am gaining. I can def see improvements in my triceps though.

I just finished todays workout; here's some pictures:

You can see my shoulders alot better in the second one.
I'll probably do some pullups later on, I'm pretty exhausted right now though. I'll be back with my situp test results in a couple days.

That's good to hear man, I'm sure you'll get great results!

I did 34 pushups on my exaushtion test yesterday. I didn't do situps this week so my pushups have caught up and I'll be starting week 5 column 1 for both in a few days.
