The Irrefutable Logic Behind Love: by Sean Messenger
Love is not a mystery and it sure as fuck ain't something you need to measure in a lab.
It's simply the world's Best Bet.
Check it out.Its an old logic puzzle from the earliest theologians. Goes like this:
* If you don't believe in heaven and you are wrong, you end up in hell. You lose everything.
* If you do believe in heaven and you're wrong, you end up nowhere. You gain nothing and lose nothing.
* If you don't believe in heaven and you are right, you end up nowhere. You gain nothing and lose nothing.
* If you do believe in heaven and you are right, you end up in heaven. You win everything.
Love is heaven. The only way to win is to believe. We have nothing to lose, and heaven to win.

'You gain nothing and lose nothing.' I completely disagree if one is wrong and ends up nowhere. First of all how can one end up nowhere, isn't that somewhere? But other then that, if you live your life as a fanatical religious person and give your life to the cause, placing everything below it. What have you lost? An experience of life and everything that we can learn, hear, see, taste, touch, love, hate, create, destroy, etc.. in it.

But everything you experience would be insignificant when compared to what waits in heaven. On the other hand, if there is no heaven, then experiencing everything there is to experience in life is insignificant as well. After you are dead, you aren't conscious to remember what you did.
BTW I'm personally sitting on the fence of Christian/agnostic right now, so I'm not going to advocate one or the other right now.

I meant that it would only be valid if you end up nowhere. If you end up in heaven then sure I guess it might be worth it although I don't believe it to be a proper path.

You can't end up nowhere. I agree with Nick there.

I don't think that was the point of the post
Basically it's saying you have everything to win, and maybe something to lose.
no?

of course, and I agree with him. BUt I don't like how he got there. I've talked to him in person and might be slightly biased towards liking the things he has to say cause he's a great guy with a lot to say, but I really don't like the way he put it.
