Question Managing Money?

So I finally have a steady paycheck which means that I need to start to manage my money. Any tips or products such as books or programs will be much appreciated.

And also if you have any question regarding managing money post them here/

How much are you looking to save?

First thing I would do is sit down and figure out your monthly expenses that you need to pay. Thats first priority.

Then take that amount and divide by the amount of paychecks you get a month. Thats how much you HAVE to save each paycheck. Then if you are trying to save a little money in the bank each check, figure out a portion of that that you will take and put away not to be touched, only in an emergency. The rest can be for you to enjoy life. Thats how I do it.

Have a budget that shows estimated expenses and proceeds for a specific time outline; organize the amounts, such as administrative costs, bills and foreseeable projects. Create a profit and loss account that mirrors your returns and expenses.

Always have budget; without one, it is impossible to gauge your spending behavior. A budget lets you identify what you can pay for and when. It also slashes down on frolicsome spending, which you may later be disappointed.
