Seriously, all of our troops are fighting for bullshit. Our government's sending our friends and family to go fight a war so that the oil moguls can sit back and take a crap in peace, all while collecting their money.
All the while, the regular people of America are suffering because of an indecisive, dumb president, who apparently doesn't mind that we're heading to a shithole in the economy. Bernanke and the FOMC are already bogged down with enough financial bullshit, that possible recovery is slim to none.
Whomever becomes president, whether it's Obama or McCain, has a LOT of shit left by Bush to clean up. We've a choice between someone with charisma, and someone with a war record to decide the future of the country. Neither one is competent enough for the job of president at this moment, but better Obama than McCain. I admit to be independent, but my views lean towards republican attitudes. Right now, the country needs Obama at this very moment. McCain is better off 4-8 years from now, when shit's died down.
Back on point, 2.7 trillion is a lot of fucking money. Within the USA, our net worth is 5.8 Trillion. 2.7tri is about a bit more than HALF the US net worth. (52%)
HALF our economy is being spent to let our oil moguls keep their private jets and mansions, and leaving the rest of us to grow poorer as times pass. Expect another great depression withing 20-30 years if the war keeps going.
