That article was ridiculously biased lol. I think it's a bit far to call weed a cure for cancer. I read the article that linked that (by the same biased site of course) and all THC seems to do is stop growth of cancer cells. What it doesn't do is kill cancer cells which is what is needed to cure cancer. So to call it a cure for cancer and not a mild preventative is a bit of a stretch.

Still marijuana is an amazing plant. It's insane how rapidly it can change and how easily it breeds. Plus I'm sick of the government claiming it's worse for you than alcohol. It doesn't cause cancer, it doesn't kill brain cells, and the amount it impairs you compared to alcohol is minuscule. If they don't want to completely legalize it and tax the shit out of it then they should at the very least legalize medical marijuana nation-wide. It's medical benefits are too strong to ignore.

An interesting study was found on the affects of medical marijuana on cancer and glaucoma patients

Small amount of THC - barely reduces pain or increases appetite
Moderate amount of THC - Decreases pain significantly and increases appetite

BUT... the more you smoke and high amounts of THC you inhale... the worse the pain gets
